![]() ![]() Since I that'll take several days unless I purchase a bunch of gauntlets (which take away from my ability to purchase seed packets with gems), That's probably 10 seed packets per day at most when averaged out. So, If I manage to win all 7 of my "free" battlez rounds in a row (highly unlikely), I'll get a total of 30 seed packets (most of which are for premium plants that I don't have so can't use), 3 gauntlets and a few coins. Of course, that total (25 per day) is now in question if you can't manage to win Battlez rounds because you keep running into guys who've $ purchased (or hacked) themselves up to max levels with premium plants. That's with an almost guaranteed 25 gems per day if you completed the gem quest and watched the commercials. I list this as weekly because it took 8 days to build up 200 gems. That's another 20 seed packets down on a weekly purchase basis. That's a loss of 172 seed packets per day if you took advantage of all the quests and purchases.Ĥ) No 200 gem purchases of 260 seed packets for any world, not even ancient Egypt which always had it (the other worlds rotated). Each of these quests awarded 3 piñatas with 7-10 seed packets per. 20Ģ) No world quests (6 quests lost per day). Wall-nut and Tall-nut), they will also be destroyed as well.So Here's the breakdown on what's been lost with the recent upgrades (I'm including a change made in January)ġ) Daily coin purchase of seed packets - Formerly 85 seed packets on 1 plant. Through third party programs, if a Doom-shroom is planted at the same tile as another plant/s (i.e.When a Doom-shroom is planted on a Pumpkin, Lily Pad, and Flower Pot, they will be destroyed and leave craters, making the only plant to destroy another plant/s.In Day and Night levels, Doom-shroom planted on row 4 will miss zombies on row 1 (except Zombonis).Doom-shroom is the only plant that can destroy other plants ( Lily Pads, Flower Pots, and Pumpkins) on its own.The Nintendo DS version's phrase of "DOOM!!" is wider than in other versions as well as off the ground. It is one of the twelve plants that was seen on the online version's seed selection after Grave Buster was obtained, the others are Ice-shroom, Potato Mine, Lily Pad, Threepeater, Tangle Kelp, Jalapeno, Spikeweed, Torchwood, Tall-nut, Cactus, and Blover. These are identical to the smoke clouds created when a Lawn Mower destroys a Gargantuar, only colored purple. When it explodes, the word "DOOM!!" will appear with a purple mushroom cloud. It may also be a pun on "Peta Zetas" (Pop Rocks spanish name) Zombies: Endless Editionįrom "Petar" (Explode) and "Seta" (Mushroom). Please note that only official translations are used. In this case, Pumpkin can be used to help the player do this more efficiently - while Doom-shroom will destroy its Pumpkin when activated, the tactical value of being able to store powerful explosive weapons is usually worth the additional 125 sun, especially in Survival: Endless. However, stockpiling Doom-shrooms is a far more difficult task, as unlike Ice-shroom, which can be planted anywhere, Doom-shroom will need to be planted on the frontline in order to fully utilize its potential, making it vulnerable to zombies. ![]() Similarly to Ice-shroom, the nocturnal mushroom mechanic does not necessarily affect Doom-shroom negatively, as it will allow the player to "stockpile" Doom-shrooms and activate them when needed. ![]() The slow recharge rate also hampers Doom-shroom somewhat, though Imitater can be used to combat this. On the other hand, the resulting crater can be detrimental, as it can practically lock down the tile permanently in normal levels, or for many flags in Survival: Endless, a place where every planting tile is needed and losing one could result in a lawn mower being activated and subsequent loss of the level should a zombie reach the end of a lane without a mower. Thanks to its massive area of effect and damage, Doom-shroom can cover almost every threat present on the screen and wipe out anything short of a Gargantuar, as long as it is planted on the pool rows in Pool and Fog levels, or on the second or third rows in Day, Night, or Roof levels. Doom-shrooms destroy everything in a large area and leave a crater that can't be planted on.ĭoom-shroom proves itself to be worthy of its appearance as a tactical nuclear weapon: an incredibly powerful explosive with great potential, but also with noticeable drawbacks.
